Hospitality is an important part of our culture. Guests are treated with the utmost respect and are often invited into people’s homes to share a meal or a cup of tea. It is considered a great honor to host guests, and people will go out of their way to make sure that their guests are comfortable and well-fed. Bangladesh is a country known for its rich culture, history, and hospitality. The people of Bangladesh are known for their warm and welcoming nature, and visitors to the country are often struck by the kindness and generosity of the locals. One of the most well-known aspects of Bangladeshi hospitality is the tradition of serving guests food. In Bangladesh, food is an important part of the culture, and meals are often shared with friends and family. When guests visit a Bangladeshi home, they are usually offered a variety of traditional dishes, such as rice, fish, meat, lentils, and vegetables as well as snacks and sweets. Bangladesh is a beautiful country located in South Asia with a land area of 147,570 km2. Dhaka is the capital and largest city, followed by Chittagong which is the largest port in the country. A major part of the country is covered by the Bengal Delta, the largest delta on Earth. The country has 700 rivers and the country’s maritime territory in the Bay of Bengal is roughly equal to the size of its land area. Highlands with green forests are found in the northeastern and southeastern region of the country. Bangladesh is a country of great hospitality. The country people whether rich or poor, are very much welcoming towards foreigners. They love to mingle with guests, invite them at home and offer them delicious and mouthwatering traditional foods. Guests are like angels for almost every house owners and are welcomed with warm greetings. Bangladesh is known abroad as a country of floods, cyclones and other natural calamities. But if you meet any foreign tourist, who has been in Bangladesh for some time, you will certainly be amazed to hear about the positive sides of the country. To the Europeans, Bangladeshi people are most hospitable in the world. Even today Bangladeshi people cry at the departure of their guests. If Malaysia represents Truly Asia, Bangladesh represents Truly Asian Hospitality. Just by visiting the country, the foreign tourists feel the difference. Besides, Bangladesh is rich in tourism resources which include world heritage sites, archaeological sites, historical mosques and monuments, resorts, long beaches, largest mangrove forest in the world, tribal life, wildlife, rich cultural diversities, etc.
