Yes. Daises, violets, tulips, marigolds, dahlias, bellies, jasmines, roses and all those things of beauty can also earn you a living if you handle them professionally.

In fact, a florist’s career is rather a good choice as an unconventional job for many around the world. Wherever you see eye-catching floral displays, you actually see the professional performance of a floral designer.

তুমি এ ধরনের পেশা শুরু করলে তোমাকে ফুল চাষি বলা হবে। একজন পুষ্পজীবীর পেশা পৃথিবীতে অনেকের জন্য একটি অপ্রচলিত পেশা হিসেবে ভালো একটি পছন্দের বিষয়। যখানে তুমি কোনো দৃষ্টিনন্দন ফুলের প্রদশনী দেখো, মূলত একজন পেশাগত সুফল নকশাকারীর কাজ দেখো।

They are also known as florists and they create superb arrangements with flowers. Using both real and artificial flowers with other greeneries, florists prepare flower displays for a variety of events such as weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, marriage days, Valentine’s day, official receptions and even funerals.

দিবস দাপ্তরিক সংবর্ধনা এবং অন্তেষ্টিক্রিয়ার জন্য ফুলের বিভিন্ন প্রদশন বা তোড়া তৈরি করে।

Every flower is with its distinct colour, design, significance and meaning which flower designers have to know well.

প্রতিটি ফুলের নিজস্ব রং,বৈচিত্র ধরন, মূল্য ও অর্থ আছে যা পুষ্পজীবীদের ভালোভাবেই রপ্ত করতে হয়।

There are conventions and significance associated with flowers. We know that conventionally roses are meant for romance and anniversaries and tulips for birthdays.

ফুলের বিভিন্ন এতিহ্য ও অর্থ আছে।আমরা জানি, ঐতিহ্যগতভাবে গোলাপ হলো রোমান্স বা ভালোবাসার প্রতীক ও টিউলিপ জন্মদিনের।

Although formal education or a diploma is not always essential, florists must have a good taste, good eye for colours, shapes and proportion. They have to have good sense for selecting flowers, ribbons and other accessories to make beautiful arrangements.

সমসময়ে প্রাতিষ্ঠানিক শিক্ষা ও ডিপ্লোমার প্রয়োজন না হলেও পুষ্পজীবীদের ফুলের রং, রুচি, ধরন ও অনুপাত সম্পর্কে সুন্দর ধারনা থাকতে হয়। চমৎকার আয়োজনের জন্য তাদের পুষ্প নির্বাচন, ফিতা ও অন্যান্য জিনিস সম্পর্কে ভালো ধারনা থাকতে হয়।

Professional florists are knowledgeable about not only flowers but also designs and techniques. Most florists learn the trade mainly through apprenticeship in a previous flower farming job and also by attending formal floral schools and courses.

পেশাগত কারনে পুষ্পজীবীরা শুধু ফুল সম্পর্কে বিজ্ঞ নন তারা বিভিন্ন ডিজাইন ও কৌশল সম্পর্কেও ভালো জ্ঞান রাখেন। অধিকাংশ পুষ্পজীবীরা এই পেশা সম্পর্কে জানে শিক্ষানবিশ হিসেবে ফুলের পেশার সঙ্গে সম্পৃক্ত থেকে অথবা আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে কোনো বিদ্যালয় থেকে কোর্স সম্পন্ন করার মাধ্যমে।

However, a true passion for flowers and a bit of aesthetic sense are all that can make a florist’s career successful.

অবশ্য ফুলের জন্য প্রকৃত আবেগ ও কিছুটা সৌন্দর্যগত অনুভূতি গুলো হলো সবকিছু, যা একজন পুস্পজীবীর পেশাকে সফল করে তুলতে পারে।

Flower designers earn fairly handsome money. But the bonus is that they belong to a fresh fun job. They work in flowers all day long in a nice atmosphere with fresh air, pleasant smells and vivid colours around.

পুষ্পজীবীরা ভালো অর্থ উপাজন করে। কিন্তু বাড়তি উপার্জন হলো যে, তারা সজীব ও মনোরোম পরিবেশে কাজ করে যা তাদের খদ্দেররাও উপভোগ করে। তারা সারাদিন ফুল নিয়ে চমৎকার ও সুবাসিত পরিবেশে উজ্জ্বল রঙের মধ্যে কাজ করে।

But there is a disadvantage too, if you are inclined to see so. Florists deal with flowers, but miss their honey!

কিন্তু একটি অসুবিধা আছে, আপনি যদি তাই একটু খেয়াল করেন. ফুল ব্যবসায়ীরা ফুলের কারবার 
করলেও তারা ফুলের মধু মিস করে।
