One day, a hare was walking in the forest when he saw a tortoise. The hare was the fastest animal in the forest. The tortoise was the slowest animal in the forest. The hare called out to the tortoise. The hare called out to the tortoise, “Hurry up! You are so slow! Can’t you walk faster? Can’t you run?”
The tortoise felt angry and said to the hare, “Why don’t we have a race? May be I can win!”
The hare laughed and laughed. “Sure! I will win!” the hare said. They agreed to start next to a big three and finish at the river. Then they called their friends to watch. The hare stood beside the tortoise and the race began.
The hare ran quickly and in a few minutes the hare was out of sight. The hare said to himself. “The tortoise is very far behind. I can see the finish line. I have time for a nap!” Soon the hare was asleep under a tree next to the path. The tortoise walked steadily, on and on. He didn’t stop. Soon, he passed the sleeping hare. The hare slept for an hour. When he finally woke up, he looked at the finish line. He couldn’t believe his eyes! Tortoise was almost at the finish line! The hare ran as fast as he could, but it was too late. The tortoise crossed the finish line and won the competition! The hare was furious! The tortoise looked back at the hare and smiled. Then he said, “Slow but steady wins the race!”
(Slow but steady wins the race)

Answer: A Letter to a Friend About a Visit to the Liberation War Museum
House–12, Road–5
Kafrul, Dhaka
25 March 2026
Dear Kushol,
I hope you are well. Today I am very excited to share my recent experience of visiting the Liberation War Museum with my class.
Last week, our school arranged a field trip to the museum. We started early in the morning by bus, and everyone was very cheerful. When we reached the museum, I was amazed by its beautiful and modern building. Our teacher guided us through different galleries.
Inside the museum, we saw many valuable things related to our Liberation War of 1971. There were photographs, documents, weapons, and personal belongings of the freedom fighters. One section showed the brutalities faced by our people during the war, which made me very emotional. Another section highlighted the courage and sacrifices of our brave freedom fighters.
I was especially impressed by the stories of ordinary people who contributed to the war. Their bravery filled me with pride and respect for our country. We also watched a short documentary, which helped us understand the history more clearly.
This visit was not only enjoyable but also very educational. It deepened my love for our country and made me realize the value of independence. I think every student should visit this museum at least once.
I wish you could have been with us. We would have enjoyed it even more together. Please write back and let me know how you are doing.
With love,
Monmy

The trip was carefully planned by our school authority. Our teachers arranged a bus and fixed the date and time. We were instructed to gather at school early in the morning. Everyone was very excited about the visit.
We started our journey at 8:00 a.m. and reached the museum at around 9:30 a.m. The journey was enjoyable, and we sang songs and shared our excitement on the way.

Composition: Our National Flag
(a) What is the symbol of Independence?
(b) What is its measurement?
(c) What is it made of?
(d) What is its colour?
(e) What does the green colour symbolize?
(f) What does the red colour symbolize?
(g) How can you uphold its honour?
Our National Flag
The national flag is the symbol of our independence and sovereignty. It represents the pride, unity, and identity of a nation.
The measurement of our national flag of Bangladesh is in the ratio of 10:6, meaning the length is ten units and the width is six units. It is usually made of cloth such as cotton or polyester so that it can be easily flown.
The flag has two main colours: green and red. The background is deep green, and there is a red circle slightly towards the hoist side.
The green colour symbolizes the lush greenery of our land and the vitality of our people. It also represents youth, hope, and prosperity. On the other hand, the red circle symbolizes the rising sun and the sacrifices made by our martyrs during the Liberation War. We can uphold the honour of our national flag by showing respect to it at all times. We should not let it touch the ground, and we must hoist it properly on national days. Most importantly, we should love our country, follow its laws, and work honestly for its progress. Thus, our national flag is not just a piece of cloth; it is a sacred symbol of our freedom and national pride.
