Duties of Students [300 Words]

The foremost duty of a student is the diligent acquisition of knowledge. A student must approach learning with unwavering commitment, assiduity, and intellectual curiosity. Mere attendance in classrooms or perfunctory engagement with textbooks cannot suffice; true scholarship demands critical thinking, reflection, and the relentless pursuit of comprehension.

Beyond the realm of academics, students bear the responsibility of cultivating moral rectitude. Honesty, integrity, and respect for authority constitute the cornerstone of exemplary conduct. Cheating, deceit, or indolence in any form tarnishes both individual character and collective scholastic reputation.

Moreover, a student must actively participate in the betterment of society. Voluntary service, empathy toward the disadvantaged, and awareness of societal issues are integral to the holistic development of character. Students should not remain insular in their learning; they ought to disseminate knowledge and contribute meaningfully to communal welfare.

Physical well-being and discipline are also indispensable duties. A sound mind thrives in a sound body; thus, regular exercise, prudent nutrition, and adequate rest are essential. Equally, punctuality, organization, and adherence to rules foster a disciplined lifestyle conducive to success.

Finally, students must cultivate intellectual humility and a perpetual appetite for learning. Knowledge is boundless, and the cognizance of one’s limitations engenders openness, adaptability, and lifelong growth.

শিক্ষার্থীর সর্বপ্রথম ও প্রধান কর্তব্য হলো জ্ঞান অর্জনে নিষ্ঠাবান হওয়া। একজন শিক্ষার্থীকে দৃঢ় অঙ্গীকার, পরিশ্রম এবং বৌদ্ধিক কৌতূহল নিয়ে পড়াশোনার প্রতি মনোযোগী হতে হবে। কেবল শ্রেণিকক্ষে উপস্থিত থাকা বা পাঠ্যবইয়ের উপর উপর পড়া যথেষ্ট নয়; প্রকৃত শিক্ষা অর্জনের জন্য প্রয়োজন গভীর চিন্তা, আত্মবিশ্লেষণ এবং বিষয়বস্তুকে সম্পূর্ণভাবে বোঝার অবিরাম প্রচেষ্টা।

শিক্ষাক্ষেত্রের বাইরে শিক্ষার্থীদের নৈতিক চরিত্র গঠনের দায়িত্বও রয়েছে। সততা, নৈতিকতা এবং কর্তৃপক্ষের প্রতি শ্রদ্ধা আদর্শ আচরণের মূল ভিত্তি। যেকোনো ধরনের নকল, প্রতারণা বা অলসতা ব্যক্তিগত চরিত্রের পাশাপাশি শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠানের সম্মানকেও ক্ষুণ্ণ করে।

তদুপরি, সমাজের কল্যাণে সক্রিয় ভূমিকা পালন করাও একজন শিক্ষার্থীর গুরুত্বপূর্ণ কর্তব্য। স্বেচ্ছাসেবামূলক কাজ, অসহায় মানুষের প্রতি সহমর্মিতা এবং সামাজিক সমস্যার প্রতি সচেতনতা শিক্ষার্থীর সার্বিক ব্যক্তিত্ব বিকাশে সহায়ক। শিক্ষার্থীদের জ্ঞানচর্চা কেবল নিজেদের মধ্যে সীমাবদ্ধ রাখা উচিত নয়; বরং সেই জ্ঞান সমাজের কল্যাণে কাজে লাগানো উচিত।

শারীরিক সুস্থতা ও শৃঙ্খলাও অপরিহার্য কর্তব্য। সুস্থ শরীরেই সুস্থ মনের বিকাশ ঘটে। তাই নিয়মিত ব্যায়াম, সুষম খাদ্য গ্রহণ এবং পর্যাপ্ত বিশ্রাম অত্যন্ত প্রয়োজনীয়। একই সঙ্গে সময়ানুবর্তিতা, নিয়মশৃঙ্খলা ও বিধিনিষেধ মেনে চলা একটি সফল জীবনের জন্য সহায়ক।

অবশেষে, শিক্ষার্থীদের বৌদ্ধিক বিনয় এবং আজীবন শেখার আগ্রহ গড়ে তুলতে হবে। জ্ঞানের কোনো শেষ নেই; নিজের সীমাবদ্ধতা উপলব্ধি করলে নতুন ধারণা গ্রহণের মানসিকতা তৈরি হয়।

শিক্ষার্থীদের কর্তব্য (বাংলা অর্থ)

শিক্ষার্থীরা একটি জাতির ভবিষ্যৎ। তাদের প্রধান কর্তব্য হলো জ্ঞান অর্জন করা এবং উত্তম চরিত্র গঠন করা। একজন শিক্ষার্থীকে শ্রেণিকক্ষে মনোযোগী হতে হবে এবং পড়াশোনায় নিয়মিত হতে হবে। পাঠ ভালোভাবে শেখা, সময়মতো বাড়ির কাজ করা এবং আন্তরিকভাবে পরীক্ষার প্রস্তুতি নেওয়া শিক্ষার্থীর গুরুত্বপূর্ণ দায়িত্ব। শিক্ষা একজন শিক্ষার্থীকে সুনাগরিক হতে এবং দেশসেবায় আত্মনিয়োগ করতে সাহায্য করে।

শৃঙ্খলা শিক্ষার্থীদের আরেকটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ কর্তব্য। একজন শৃঙ্খলাবান শিক্ষার্থী বিদ্যালয় ও বাড়ির নিয়মকানুন মেনে চলে। সে শিক্ষক, পিতা-মাতা ও বয়োজ্যেষ্ঠদের সম্মান করে। আনুগত্য ও ভদ্র আচরণ শিক্ষার্থীকে সকলের কাছে প্রিয় করে তোলে। শৃঙ্খলা শিক্ষার্থীদের সময়ের সঠিক ব্যবহার এবং আত্মনিয়ন্ত্রণ শেখায়।

শিক্ষার্থীদের শারীরিক ও মানসিক স্বাস্থ্যের প্রতিও যত্নবান হতে হবে। নিয়মিত ব্যায়াম, পরিষ্কার-পরিচ্ছন্নতা ও স্বাস্থ্যকর খাদ্য শরীরকে সুস্থ রাখে। সুস্থ শরীর মনকে সতেজ ও কর্মক্ষম রাখে। শিক্ষার্থীদের খারাপ অভ্যাস পরিহার করে সময়ের সদ্ব্যবহার করা উচিত।

অন্যকে সাহায্য করা শিক্ষার্থীদের একটি মহৎ কর্তব্য। তাদের সহানুভূতিশীল, সৎ ও সহায়ক হতে হবে। তারা দুর্বল শিক্ষার্থীদের পড়াশোনায় সাহায্য করতে পারে এবং সামাজিক কাজে অংশ নিতে পারে। সবাইকে সম্মান করা ও দলগতভাবে কাজ করার মানসিকতা গড়ে তোলা জরুরি।

সমাজ ও জাতির প্রতিও শিক্ষার্থীদের কর্তব্য রয়েছে। তাদের দেশকে ভালোবাসতে হবে এবং দেশের আইন মেনে চলতে হবে। সাংস্কৃতিক অনুষ্ঠান, বৃক্ষরোপণ ও সমাজকল্যাণমূলক কাজে অংশগ্রহণ তাদের দায়িত্বশীল নাগরিক হিসেবে গড়ে তোলে।

সংক্ষেপে বলা যায়, শিক্ষার্থীদের পড়াশোনায় মনোযোগী, জীবনে শৃঙ্খলাবান, শরীর ও মনে সুস্থ এবং অন্যের প্রতি সহায়ক হতে হবে। কর্তব্য সঠিকভাবে পালন করলে শিক্ষার্থীরা নিজেদের উজ্জ্বল ভবিষ্যৎ গড়তে পারবে এবং জাতির অগ্রগতিতে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা রাখবে।
