My Home District

My Home District (Faridpur)

The name of my home town is Faridpur. It stands on the Padma River. Its aria is 22.09 square kilometers. It has nine Words. Faridpur is an important center of the jute trade and hilsa fish trade. Its industrial sector features numerous jute mills, sugar mills and a 50 MW thermal power plant. The famous Govt. Rajendra College is in the middle town. Our Faridpur Govt. Girls High School & Faridpur Zilla School are favorite and the stand on middle of the town. Faridpur town was upgraded in Municipalities at 1869. Faridpur town was named “Fatehabad”. It has vast population. Near about the population of Faridpur town is 1,35,837. It has many Govt. School, College and Madrasha. It has a nice “Shishu Park”. It has good communication all over the Bangladesh. Faridpur has an “National Stadium”. It has a Medical College, Govt. Hospital, many Private Hospital and famous Diabetics Hospital. Different communities live here in peacefully. Famous poet Jashimuddin is from Faridpur. The only river research institution name Bangladesh Nadi Gobeshona Institute is in Faridpur.  I live in Faridpur town with my parents. I like it very much.

My Home District

The name of my home district is Kishoreganj. It is a district headquarters and is only 145 kilometres from Dhaka. The district consists of 8 municipalities, 13 upazilas, 108 unions and 1745 villages. It is famous for Solakia Eid Ground, the Pagla Mosque, and Govt. Gurudayal College. It is also famous as the birthplace of important personalities such as Chandrabati, the first woman poet of Bangla literature; Syed Nazrul Islam, the first acting President of Bangladesh; and Shilpacharya Zainul Abedin. I love my home district very much. I am proud of my home district.

The name of my home town is Kishoreganj. It is about 145 kilometres from Dhaka. The river Narasunda flows through the town. The important places in my home town are the largest Eid fairgrounds, called Solakia Eid Ground, The Pagla Mosque, the fort of Isah Khan at Jangalbari, Shiva Temple of Chandrabati. The famous people from this home town are Chandrabati, the first woman poet of Bengali literature, the greatest painter Zainul Abedin, Syed Nazrul Islam, the first acting president of Bangladesh.
