The greedy farmer and his wonderful goose

Once there live a farmer in a village. He used to cut down trees in the forest and sold them in the market to earn his livelihood. One day he brought a goose from market. In the next morning, he saw that a golden egg beside the goose. To see that the farmer became surprised. Then he sold the golden egg in the market.

Everyday the goose laid a golden egg and the farmer sold them in the market. He became very rich by soldind the eggs in the market. Then he stopped cutting down trees and lead a very happy life with his wife and childrens. But his wife was very greedy. She wanted to became very rich overnight.

She thought that there was so much golden eggs in the belly of the goose. So, she wanted to kill the goose to get all the golden eggs in order to become very rice. One day she take a knife and cut the belly of the goose. Then she saw there was no egg in the belly of the goose. To saw this the farmer became very upset and said to his wife, “For sin, in sin, death in sin”. Again the farmer became poor and started to cutting down trees in the forest.
