All on a sudden, they saw a bag of gold lying on the ground. All the three friends noticed the bag at the same time. So, all of them wanted to have the bag. They started quarrelling with each other regarding the bag. They forgot that they had promised to stay united. They continued their quarrel for a long time but failed to come to any decision. The place where they were quarrelling was very dangerous. It was a secret passage of a robber group. The bag of gold was lost by them. So the group of robbers was searching for the bag. Soon the group of the robbers came to the place. The leader of the robber saw the bag lying and three persons quarrelling near to the bag. The three friends were so absorbed in themselves that they could not notice the presence of the robbers. The leader of the robbers asked them, ”Why are you quarrelling?” Being feared, one of the three friends told the truth. He said, ”How fools you three are! You are quarrelling regarding such a thing which is not owned by you. Now give me all you have”. Telling this, the group of the robbers snatched away all the three friends had brought with them. They lost the bag of gold and at the same time all their belongings.
Moral: The offspring of quarrel never brings any good to us.
