Shahed sir is not only our class teacher but also our guide. Whenever any one of us is in trouble, he is there. Sometimes, we thought he has magical power.

শাহেদ স্যার কেবল আমাদের শ্রেণিশিক্ষকই নন আমাদের পথপ্রদর্শকও বটে। যখনই কেউ ঝামেলায় পড়ে, তখনই তিনি সেখানে তাদের পাশে থাকেন। মাঝে মাঝে আমরা ভাবতাম যে তার অলৌকিক ক্ষমতা আছে।

Otherwise, I wonder how he got informed about our problems. Once, one of our friends, Azmayn went to Bandarban. When he tried to climb up a hill, a bone of his right leg got displaced.

আবার, আমি অবাক হতাম তিনি কীভাবে আমাদের সমস্যাগুলোর বিষয়ে অবহিত হতেন। একবার আমাদের এক বন্ধু আজামাইন বান্দারবান গিয়েছিল। যখন সে পাহাড় বেয়ে ওঠার চেষ্টা করছিল তখন তার ডান পায়ের একটি হাড় স্থানচ্যুত হলো।

He couldn’t walk and do any classes for two months. He was in total darkness about classroom teaching and learning. Also, this long absence hurt his mind. He had to pass a terrible time.

সে হাঁটতে পারত না এবং দুই মাসের জন্য কোনো শ্রেণি পাঠ করতে পারল না। সে শ্রেণিকক্ষের পঠন ও শিখন সম্পর্কে সম্পূর্ণ অন্ধকারে ছিল। এই দীর্ঘ অনুপস্থিতি তার মনকেও পীড়া দিত।তাকে চরম সময় পার করতে হতো।

As usual Shahed sir came forward with his unique idea that every day our friend Maliha would message him everything discussed in the class.

যথারীতি শাহেদ স্যার এগিয়ে আসলেন তার অনন্য ধারণা নিয়ে, আমাদের বন্ধু মালিহা শ্রেণিকক্ষে আলোচিত সবকিছুর সংবাদ তাকে পৌছে দিবে প্রতিদিন।

Maliha took this responsibility willingly because it helped improve her communication skills. Sir also told us to visit him every alternative day.

মালিহা স্বেচ্ছাপ্রণোদিতভাবে এই তায়িত্ব নিল কারন এটা তার যোগাযোগ দক্ষতার উন্নতিসাধনে সাহায্য করত। স্যার আমাদেরকেও একদিন পরপর তাকে দেখতে যেতে বললেন।

We discussed almost every little incident that happened in class. We all felt like he was with us as earlier. It worked so well that within a few days Azmayn got recovered and started to attend the classes.

আমরা শ্রেণিকক্ষে যা ঘটত প্রায় সব ছোট ঘটনা আলোচনা করতাম। সে আমাদের সাথে আগের মতোই ছিল, আমরা এরূপই অনুভব করতাম। এটা এতো ভালো কাজ করল যে কয়েক দিনের মধ্যে আজমাাইন সুস্থ হলো এবং শ্রেণিকক্ষে আসা শুরু করল।

We understood that difficulties are part of our lives. But we can overcome those if we extend our hands to others. Because life must go on…

a) What happened to Azmayn?
Ans. Azmayn went to Bandarban. When he tried to climb up a hill, a bone of his right leg got displaced.

b) How did he feel when he couldn’t walk?
Ans. He felt so sad when he couldn’t walk. Because, he couldn’t attend the classes for two months.

c) How was the situation overcome?
Ans. One of Azmayn’s classmate Maliha messaged him everything discussed in the class. Also his other class friends visited him regularly to discussing everything that happened in class. Within a short time, Azmayn got recovered and started to attend the classes.
