Hobby – Questions and Answers; Day: 91

Hobbies are a hot topic anytime. Similar to favorite things, hobbies are favorite things that you do. This is a small section so let’s get started.

শখ যে কোনো সময় একটি আলোচিত বিষয়। প্রিয় জিনিসের মতই, শখ হল প্রিয় জিনিস যা আপনি করেন। এটি একটি ছোট বিভাগ তাই চলুন শুরু করা যাক.

Questions you can ask:
“What are your hobbies?”
“What do you do in your spare time?”
“What do you like to do?”
“What do you like to do for fun?”
“If you had extra time, what would you do with it?”

প্রশ্ন আপনি জিজ্ঞাসা করতে পারেন:

“তোমার শখ কি কি?”

“আপনি আপনার অতিরিক্ত সময় কি করবেন?”

“আপনি কি করতে পছন্দ করেন?”

There is not much else you can say. Remember that we can create many different sentences, but we want to use what is most common in spoken English. So we need to stay with the most common words.

আর বেশি কিছু বলার নেই। মনে রাখবেন যে আমরা অনেকগুলি বিভিন্ন বাক্য তৈরি করতে পারি, তবে আমরা কথ্য ইংরেজিতে সবচেয়ে সাধারণ যা ব্যবহার করতে চাই। তাই আমাদের সবচেয়ে সাধারণ শব্দের সাথে থাকতে হবে।

Answering questions:
“My hobbies consist of golfing, reading novels, and watching movies.”
“I like to play computer games in my free time.”
“If I’m not working, then I’m busy chatting with people on the Internet.”
“During my spare time, I like to cook.”
“I like to read magazines.”
“In the summer I play golf, and in the winter, I go skiing.”
“I love every type of sports.”

প্রশ্নের উত্তর দিচ্ছি:

“আমার শখের মধ্যে গল্ফ খেলা, উপন্যাস পড়া এবং সিনেমা দেখা।”

“আমি আমার অবসর সময়ে কম্পিউটার গেম খেলতে পছন্দ করি।”

“যদি আমি কাজ না করি, তাহলে আমি ইন্টারনেটে মানুষের সাথে চ্যাট করতে ব্যস্ত।”

“আমার অবসর সময়ে, আমি রান্না করতে পছন্দ করি।”

“আমি পত্রিকা পড়তে পছন্দ করি।”

“গ্রীষ্মকালে আমি গল্ফ খেলি, এবং শীতকালে, আমি স্কিইং করি।”

Making statements:
“I need to find a hobby. I have nothing to do all day.”
“Maybe you wouldn’t be so lonely if you had a hobby.”
“Hobbies are great because it allows you to do what you enjoy.”
“Although I have many hobbies, I wish I had more time to do more.”
“I love to go snowboarding. It’s exhilarating.”
“I would go skiing more often, but it takes such a long time to go up to the mountains.”
“I wish golfing wasn’t so expensive. I would golf almost everyday if I could afford it.”

বিবৃতি তৈরি করা:

“আমার একটা শখ খুঁজে বের করতে হবে। সারাদিন আমার কিছু করার নেই।”

“আপনার শখ থাকলে হয়তো আপনি এত একাকী হতেন না।”

“শখগুলি দুর্দান্ত কারণ এটি আপনাকে যা উপভোগ করে তা করতে দেয়।”
