Fair Daffodils, we weep to see

You haste away so soon;

As yet the early-rising sun

Has not attain’d his noon.

Stay, stay,

Until the hasting day

Has run

But to the even-song;

And, having pray’d together, we

Will go with you along.

We have short time to stay, as you,

We have as short a spring;

As quick a growth to meet decay,

As you, or anything.

We die

As your hours do, and dry

শ্বেতশুভ্র ডেফোডিল, আমরা কাঁদি, এটা দেখে যে

এত তাড়াতাড়ি তুমি চলে যাও;

এখনও ভোরের উদীয়মান সূর্য

মধ্যাহ্নে যোগ দেয়নি।

থাকো, থাকো,

যতক্ষণ পর্যন্ত ব্যস্ত দিন

চলে না যায়।

সান্ধ্য সংগীত পর্যন্ত

এবং একত্রে প্রার্থনা শেষ করিয়া, আমরা
