5.1.1 & 5.2.1 ; Expressing a Solution to a Problem

5.1.1 Look at the illustration below and discuss, in pairs what it appears to you. Then, share your thoughts with the class.

Answer:

The sun dips below the horizon, casting a warm glow over the wild land. The man is defying gravity with his arms extended and his body raised in the air. His eyes focus on the next peak, and his face is set with determination. This image is a powerful symbol of overcoming hardship. The distance between the two crests represents the obstacles we must overcome, and the man’s successful landing represents our victory over the challenges we face. The man’s leap represents our ability to overcome these obstacles and to bridge the gaps between where we are now and where we want to be. His unwavering focus and unwavering determination exemplify the resilience of the human spirit- our ability to go on in the face of difficulty.

  1. Health problems lead to physical discomfort, emotional stress, and a reduced ability to carry out everyday tasks. Financial stress causes me to feel hopeless, depressed, and anxious. Severe heat waves cause physical discomfort, fatigue, and illnesses. Transportation issues lead to stress, inconvenience, and difficulties in meeting daily obligations. Emotional distress, a sense of loneliness, and a decline in mental health arise from interpersonal conflicts. The impact often goes beyond me, and family members and friends experience emotional distress, financial hardship due to medical expenses, and disruptions in their daily routines.
