Dear Sir,

We have the honour to draw your kind attention to the fact the recent cyclone has damaged not only our school building but also many of our houses. Now it has become our moral duty to help our parents to restore the houses. For this reason, it is difficult for the examinees to concentrate on their studies. Hence it would be convenient for us if the First Terminal Examination is held two weeks later.

In view of the reason mentioned above, we pray and hope that your honour would be kind enough to hold the First Terminal Examination two weeks later so that we can take a thorough preparation for the examination.
