Load shedding is a controlled process of temporarily reducing the demand for electricity by disconnecting certain areas or neighborhoods from the power grid. It is usually implemented during periods of high electricity demand, to prevent widespread blackouts. Load shedding is necessary to maintain the stability and reliability of the power grid. It is a common method used by electricity utilities to manage electricity supply and demand in real time. The process of load shedding is automated and is usually performed in a rotating fashion so that no one area is affected for too long.

Load Shedding means the suspension of the supply of electricity for a certain period. It has become a regular affair in our country. Load shedding is caused for different causes. The insufficient production of electricity in our country is the main cause of load shedding. Misuse of electricity is another cause. Illegal connection of electricity is also responsible for load shedding. On the other hand, government is not sincere to produce electricity proportion to our demand. So due to load shedding production in mills and factories decreases. Fresh food taken refrigerator gets rotten. Load shedding at night encourage the miscreants in there violent works. It also disturbs the study of the student. After all, load shedding affects the economy of our country. So our government should establish more plants and power house to solve this problem. Illegal connection and system loss should also be stopped.
