Paragraph : Homemaker [100 to 300 Words]

A HOMEMAKER 

NB:  100 words.

A person especially a woman who works at home and takes care of the house and family is known as a homemaker. Generally a wife is considered  as a homemaker in our country. Some homemakers are educated and some are not. But they all do one common thing that is they do every household work. Usually a homemaker does not earn  money, but she also runs the family. She does all the work at home-cooking, cleaning, washing, husking, taking care of the children. She also teaches her children at home. She takes care of all the members of her family. Her work in the home is very important as it can make the family stick together and make it happy. Even a homemaker tries her best to maintain peace  and happiness at the cost of her life . So we should look at a homemaker with so much admiration and gratitude .

People who take care of households for themselves and for the other people and by doing the work they lead their livelihood are called homemakers. Generally, they may perform general housekeeping chores and personal services, or they may assign them to other members of the household. Sometimes they employ people outside the household to do these tasks. Every household is unique, and the duties of each homemaker vary according to the ages, habits, needs, and incomes of the people in the household. At the same rate they are responsible for keeping homes clean and running smoothly. They decide what cleaning jobs need to be done, and they arrange to have them completed. Cleaning tasks may include dusting, sweeping, making beds, washing and waxing floors, vacuuming, and a wide variety of other chores. Many homemakers also make sure that clothing and household items are laundered, dry-cleaned, or mended when needed. In many cases, they shop for food, clothing, and other household needs. Homemakers often plan, cook, and serve many of the meals for their households. Sometimes they make arrangements to have others cook meals in the home or to buy meals from outside sources. Maintaining the household budget may be another responsibility of homemakers. They may take care of bills, banking, tax filing, and other financial matters. They often are responsible for day-to-day expenses, and they sometimes do long-range financial planning for their households. With other household members they make decisions about buying insurance, taking vacations, getting loans, and other important matters. In fact, they play an important role to make the family happy.

In Bangladesh, a homemaker is especially a woman but in other countries, the term can be used for a housewife or a househusband.  In the United States, a person in charge of the homemaking is called a homemaker. He or she is not employed outside the home. She oversees day to day operations of the house and manages all domestic chores. A homemaker cares for her own home and family by cleaning, cooking nutritious meals, doing laundry, running errands, caring for pets, working with a budget,organizing, etc. She is her own boss. She enjoys the freedom of creating her own schedule. She realizes the value of her unpaid job. Her job brings the stability of her family. In some cases, a maid or housekeeper is employed to do some of the housekeeping. Another responsibility of homemakers is to maintain the household budget. They may take care of bills, banking, tax filing, and other financial matters. They also make decisions with other household members about buying insurance, taking vacations, getting loans, and other important matters. It is important that the homemaker discover how to best organize each room in the household in order to enjoy a comfortable life. A successful homemaker ensures happiness in the family.

  • Hey, The 1st paragraph consist of 150 words not 100 . Please correct it . Although I needed that 150 words paragraph. Thank you so much.

    And yes, the 2nd paragraph consist of 263 words not 230 . It wouldn’t be a problem if it was between 225-240. But that’s too high for the students.
