6.1.1 Think that in this summer vacation, with your family, you are planning to visit a place in Bangladesh. Now you need to make decisions on many things. Now, look at the following illustrations and decide which one you will choose from the given options for your visit. Later, share your list of choices for the journey with the class, explaining why you chose them.

I) Sajek Valley:
Sajek Valley and Cox’s Bazar both have some unique features that attract tourists. After comparing various aspects of both locations, I have chosen Sajek Valley.
সাজেক ভ্যালি এবং কক্সবাজার উভয়েরই কিছু অনন্য বৈশিষ্ট্য রয়েছে যা পর্যটকদের আকর্ষণ করে। উভয় অবস্থানের বিভিন্ন দিক তুলনা করার পর, আমি সাজেক ভ্যালি বেছে নিয়েছি।
Firstly, Sajek Valley offers the scenic beauty of gentle hills, beautiful green valleys, and captivating cloud formations while Cox’s Bazar offers the beauty of long sandy beaches, clear waters, and a vibrant atmosphere. The scenic beauty of Sajek Valley draws me more than Cox’s Bazar.
প্রথমত, সাজেক উপত্যকা মৃদু পাহাড়ের নৈসর্গিক সৌন্দর্য, সুন্দর সবুজ উপত্যকা এবং চিত্তাকর্ষক মেঘের গঠন এবং কক্সবাজার দীর্ঘ বালুকাময় সমুদ্র সৈকত, স্বচ্ছ জল এবং একটি প্রাণবন্ত পরিবেশের সৌন্দর্য প্রদান করে। সাজেক ভ্যালির নৈসর্গিক সৌন্দর্য আমাকে কক্সবাজারের চেয়েও বেশি টানে।
Secondly, Sajek Valley is a paradise for nature lovers who enjoy hiking, adventuring and exploring the untouched beauty of the countryside. On the contrary, Cox’s Bazar is an ideal destination for sunbathers, swimmers and lovers of water sports. Opportunities offered by Sajek Valley seem more attractive than those of Cox’s Bazar.
দ্বিতীয়ত, সাজেক ভ্যালি প্রকৃতি প্রেমীদের জন্য একটি স্বর্গ, যারা হাইকিং, অ্যাডভেঞ্চার এবং গ্রামাঞ্চলের অস্পৃশ্য সৌন্দর্য অন্বেষণ উপভোগ করেন। বিপরীতে, কক্সবাজার সূর্যস্নানকারী, সাঁতারু এবং জলক্রীড়া প্রেমীদের জন্য একটি আদর্শ গন্তব্য। সাজেক ভ্যালির সুযোগগুলো কক্সবাজারের চেয়ে বেশি আকর্ষণীয় বলে মনে হয়।
Thirdly, Sajek Valley experience a more beautiful pleasant climate compared to Cox’s Bazar. While weather in Cox’s Bazar can be quite humid and hot during the summer months, the valley experiences cooler temperatures and a refreshing breeze. The weather in Sajek Valley suits more, so it appears to me more tempting for which I have decided to choose Sajek Valley.
তৃতীয়ত, কক্সবাজারের তুলনায় সাজেক উপত্যকা আরও সুন্দর মনোরম জলবায়ু অনুভব করে। যদিও গ্রীষ্মের মাসগুলিতে কক্সবাজারের আবহাওয়া বেশ আর্দ্র এবং গরম হতে পারে, উপত্যকায় শীতল তাপমাত্রা এবং একটি সতেজ বাতাস অনুভব করে। সাজেক ভ্যালির আবহাওয়া বেশি মানানসই, তাই এটা আমার কাছে আরও লোভনীয় মনে হচ্ছে যার জন্য আমি সাজেক ভ্যালি বেছে নেওয়ার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছি।
II) Bus:
Explanation of my choice processing: There is no direct train route to Sajek Valley. Travelers usually take a train to Chittagong, then continue their journey to Khagracharibu bus or car. In contrast there is a direct bus route to Khagrachari. From Khagrachari, travelers need to switch to local transport like jeeps or Chander Gari (A type of local vehicle for hill track) to reach Sajek. Since the bus journey to Sajek Valley is more convenient, I have chosen the bus journey.

III) Bag:
Suitcases are not handy for hiking, and navigating is difficult with a suitcase in the uneven surface. On the contrary, bags are ideal for hiking due to their hands-free movement, versatility, and multiple compartments. Moreover, they come in a range of sizes and can hold necessities. For the convenience of a bag during hiking, I have preferred bags to suitcase.

IV) Sneakers:
Sneakers would offer better foot support and protection in activities like hiking, navigating uneven or rocky terrain, or walking longer distance. Sajek Valley has a rough surface. In such cases, sneakers provide better support than slippers. I like to wear sneakers because they are comfortable and stable for touring around Hill track like Sajek Valley.

V) Mobile Phone Camera
DSLR cameras provide superior image quality but require photography knowledge and expertise. On the contrary, mobile phones are user-friendly and beginners and offer various modes, filters, and editing options familiar to the users. Moreover, they are suitable for travelers who seek convenience. Since I prefer traveling light without extra equipment, and so a mobile phone camera might be more suitable for me.

VI) Magazines
A fiction or adventure book provides immersive experience and adventures of January. In contrast, magazines offer a variety of contents, including articles on travel, short ston’s, photography, and current events. A fiction or adventure book is an excellent choice for those who love getting lost in a captivating story, while magazines are an excellent choice for those who are quick readers. However, as I enjoy browsing through diverse content and prefer shorter readers, magazines are a better choice form.
একটি কল্পকাহিনী বা দুঃসাহসিক বই জানুয়ারী মাসের নিমগ্ন অভিজ্ঞতা এবং অ্যাডভেঞ্চার প্রদান করে। বিপরীতে, ম্যাগাজিনগুলি ভ্রমণের নিবন্ধ, শর্ট স্টোনস, ফটোগ্রাফি এবং বর্তমান ঘটনা সহ বিভিন্ন বিষয়বস্তু অফার করে। একটি কল্পকাহিনী বা দুঃসাহসিক বই যারা একটি মনোমুগ্ধকর গল্পে হারিয়ে যেতে পছন্দ করে তাদের জন্য একটি চমৎকার পছন্দ, আর যারা দ্রুত পাঠক তাদের জন্য ম্যাগাজিন একটি চমৎকার পছন্দ। যাইহোক, যেহেতু আমি বিভিন্ন বিষয়বস্তুর মাধ্যমে ব্রাউজিং উপভোগ করি এবং ছোট পাঠকদের পছন্দ করি, ম্যাগাজিন একটি ভাল পছন্দের ফর্ম।
VII) Bread- Banana
Bread-bananas, and sandwich- both types of foods are simple and easy to carry. But during hikes or exploration. Bananas and bread are more suitable. Because bananas and bread are good source of carbohydrates that provide a quick energy boost. Therefore, I choose bread and bananas.
রুটি-কলা, এবং স্যান্ডউইচ- উভয় ধরনের খাবারই সহজ এবং বহনযোগ্য। কিন্তু হাইক বা অন্বেষণের সময়। কলা ও রুটি বেশি মানানসই। কারণ কলা এবং রুটি কার্বোহাইড্রেটের ভালো উৎস যা দ্রুত শক্তি বৃদ্ধি করে। অতএব, আমি রুটি এবং কলা পছন্দ করি।
