My dear Joy,

Hope you are doing great. I was really happy to get your email. Today, I am writing to tell you about the prize giving ceremony that took place at our school. It was held on the 24th of last month and was a very memorable day for all of us. A large stage was made in front of the main building.

Our school campus was decorated with colorful lights and banners. It looked like a fair. The Deputy Commissioner (D.C.) attended the ceremony as the chief guest. The event started with a beautiful recitation from the Holy Quran. After that, a few students sang the welcome song.

Then our headmaster gave a speech and shared the school’s yearly achievements. Later, the chief guest gave out prizes to the students who performed well in studies, sports, and other activities. I was very happy because I also received a prize for my good results.

After the prize distribution, there was a short cultural show with songs and dances. That’s all for today. Please give my regards to your parents.
