A dialogue between me and my friend on the importance of personal hygiene for maintaining good health
There is a dialogue between me and my friend on the importance of personal hygiene for maintaining good health.
Myself : Hi my dear friend, have you come round from your disease?
My friend : Yes, I am physically sound now. But I donât understand why I become sick very often.
Myself : In order to have a sound health, you must follow the rules of personal hygiene.
My friend : I donât understand why you should follow the rules of personal hygiene for our sound health. What is meant by personal hygiene?
Myself : Personal hygiene is the habit of kipping clean. It is a great virtue and a part of our belief.
My friend : What should we do to follow the rules of personal hygiene?
Myself : We must put on clean dress. We should not use the cloth and towel of other people. We should take bath every day; we must wash our hand with soap before have  anything.
My friend : What is the value of doing all these?
Myself : If you donât follow all these, you will suffer from a lot of both infectious diseases.
My friend : What do you want to say about our surroundings? Should we keep it clean and why?
Myself : Unclean surrounding, dirty dwelling please create unhealthy atmosphere. So it spreads the germs of diseases.
My friend : Do you have anything more to tell to precise the importance of personal hygiene?
Myself : Personal hygiene makes everything look cheerful and fresh. On the other hand dirtiness  and diseases go together because dirtiness breeds the germs of diseases.
My friend: Spitting in public places in another health hazard. Some people chew betel leaves and spit all over and even from moving vehicles.
Myself : No amount of laws can stop all this. The best things to do is to start teaching children in primary schools how to be hygiene. We should develop in our little ones a high sense of hygiene and sanitation. Hygiene should become a habit with people.
My friend : I wonder when the educationalists and politicians in power will realize the importance of all these things. But they are more interested in other things. But they are more interested in other things. Writing letters to the editors of newspaper only invites counter arguments. That is my experience.
Myself : You can’t blame the authorities. for not talking proper action against the culprits. People should help themselves. These norms can’t be imposed on others, they  should be imbibed.
My friend: That reminds me of something I have always had in my mind, Shafi, when  somebody is seriously ill, we can an ambulance, don’t we? What happens when someone dies? The same ambulance is used to carry the dead body. Is that fair?
Myself : You are right. People die of various diseases. Even if the ambulance is disinfected, the sick person shudders to think that only the previous day a dead person has been taken in the same stretcher. Why can’t hearse be kept to carry the dead?
My friend : Though it will be expensive, it can’t be avoided. It is something indispensable. The municipal authorities should find the money to provide a hearse to the public.
Myself :Â Â Thank you very much for your polite conversation.
My friend : I am so very happy to make youâre understand the importance of personal hygiene.
Myself :Â Â See you again.
My friend :Â All the best and see you again.
